Shalom,

On May 2, I will be speaking at the morning and evening services in Reed City, Michigan, on the Biblical subjects of “Hell’s Angels and Israel” and “Hell’s Angels and the Church.” These titles represent literal events in the earliest ages and the messages, hopefully, will shed some light on my own beliefs about angels, the afterworld, Israel, and the Church.

The first message will focus on the Biblical references in the Hebrew Bible to Israel and the role this nation will play in the redemption of the world. We will be quoting from the first book of the Bible, Bereishis (Genesis) with the three primary sources being the texts from Genesis 3:15, 6:1-6, and 11:1-9.

These Biblical passages are, of course, rather difficult to understand and the great Hebrew and Christian scholars of past generations have, at times, disagreed as to their interpretation. My own purpose in revisiting this area, after many years of study, is to once again explore the “Origin of Heathendom,” and the effects of heathendom, first on Israel throughout the centuries, and then on our own Christian beliefs. I have drawn heavily on authors such as G. H. Pember, Ben Adam, and Adam Clarke, plus several Jewish and Christian commentaries. I think these messages will be informative and perhaps provide some answers to the questions regarding the eternal animosity towards Israel and the origin of good and evil.

The Biblical passages that I will use in the second message are from the words of Christ in Matthew 24:36-44, I Peter 3:18-22, II Peter 2:3-14, and Jude. These are also very difficult scriptures to understand but taken in the context of the Genesis history, they can become much clearer.

My own reason for studying this area again, comes from my own need to understand more clearly why Moses was directed by God to kill all of the inhabitants within the promised boundaries of “Eretz Israel.” Joshua was to carry out that order and it resulted in many heart wrenching slaughters of babies and children. This always raised many questions. We might find some of these answers as we look into this subject together as we preach these sermons.

I will be preaching these two sermons at the Bethel Family Missionary Church at 515 Lincoln Street near to the center of the city. You may contact me about other details or questions.

You may live at a distance where you cannot attend these meetings. This information will be available in both CD and DVD formats. If you are interested, we can send them to you for a donation of $35 for the CD and $50 for the DVD.

I have asked Jodi to attach my upcoming October Israel tour itinerary as well as the April receipt update letter that I send to supporters. I hope to see you all again soon.
