ISRAEL STRATEGIC PRAYER TOUR

 Itinerary for November 2-16, 2008

¨       Purpose:

We have designed this unique, one-of-a-kind prayer experience for those seasoned prayer leaders and pray-ers who desire to be involved in strategic prayer at Biblical Tamar Park in Israel.  Tamar gives us a home-like environment in the Arava corridor of the Negev Desert of Israel, a habitation place in the Land.  Even though Tamar will become a prayer base, we will also strategically pray in Jerusalem, Galilee, and the Golan Heights areas.

¨       Leaders:

Rev. Earl & Trish Pickard (Brief Bio)

Earl and Trish Pickard have dedicated their lives to God’s service and specifically to praying with and training people who wish to engage in strategic prayer. They have led prayer groups through Israel on several occasions and most recently spent three weeks in Israel in October-November 2007, developing this two-week prayer training effort and laying the foundation of prayer for the Arava Prayer and Study Center at Biblical Tamar Park. Earl is the National Director of Prayerworks, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, where he and Trish have spent over 25 years of ministry.  Earl serves on the Executive Committee of the National Prayer Committee and was on the National Leadership Council of the former U.S. Strategic Prayer Network. They have been in prayer leadership in city, state and national prayer efforts, with a focus on Israel.

Dr. DeWayne Coxon, Ph. D. (Brief Bio)

Dr. DeWayne Coxon, the president of Blossoming Rose and Blossoming Israel, has been the curator and developer of Biblical Tamar Park for over 22 years.  Prior to focusing exclusively on Biblical Tamar Park, he led tours to Israel, lecturing throughout the country well over one hundred times.  He and many volunteers established a dental clinic for orphans in Jerusalem, maintained the Knesset Rose gardens, and developed greenhouse technologies at Ir Ovot, later called Tamar.  Through his leadership and initiative, under the supervision of the Israel Antiquities Authority, they have maintained the archaeological site, where considerable development is yet to take place. (Ezekiel 47:19 and 48:28).
